Coorg - Lost and Found - Thank you

It had always been a family and friends outing on Christmas holidays. But this year it would be to remember for a long long time to come. We had a good time in Kakabe-Coorg and On the way back from Coorg to Bangalore, my wife realized that she had lost her wallet. The last remembered was that the wallet was noticed at the time of leaving from Jungle Mount where we stayed, it may have been dropped on the way. We U-Turned back to the same route to check if in-case we could find it, but to our luck we did not. Came back to Bangalore with a heavy heart after losing all the credit cards and cash left over after such a good vacation.
The next day morning, we got a call from a guy named Umar, saying that his worker has found a wallet beside a road near 2 kms from Napukalu. We nearly jumped on listening to this, he mentioned that he got the number as it was mentioned in the company id card in the wallet.
“ My poor coolie workers Raja and Aseer have found the wallet and have took 30 rupees to recharge the mobile, please give your address I would make some arrangement to send the wallet”. In this time where I see so many people cheating and here I see someone who is ready to make arrangements to send the lost wallet. “Bless them”. I called the Jungle Mount owner Sagar to send someone to this guy and collect the purse. Sagar later posted me the wallet.
I am so glad to narrate this and let everyone know that in a small village near Kakabe - Coorg lives a honest man who cared to return a lost item without being selfish. In Bangalore where I stay, I would not had come across such a gentleman. I do not know how to respect or return my gratitude towards this person, so I request the concerned DC or village in-charge to give honors to this man.
Thank you Coorg to give people like this where we so called Urban class can learn from.

Thanks to

Payback Time

I have been driving my Hyundai Accent in Bangalore for around 6 years now and had hell time on the roads. Such is the traffic here that though with atmost care some or the other day you keep getting dents or scratches on the bumpers, side doors etc.. I always maintain my car and make sure that I have good finish without any dents or scratches all time. It seems nearly impossible here in Bangalore. The Auto Rickaws, the bikes, cab drivers, even the cycles had given me tough time. Recently I had to shell out 13K INR again to re-polish and tinker all the sides of front and rear bumper. Now enough is enough.
3 months i started looking out for bike but somehow I could not get one, so went ahead and booked myself one. Such is a demand of this bike that minimum 3 – 4 months of booking time is must. Yesterday evening I finally got it. I gifted myself my dream bike Yipeeee. Now beware all the Rickaws, bikers and cab drivers, its payback time.
